Food noise, turned down.

Feel full sooner and stay full longer. The constant pull to snack finally lets go.

Common questions

Mounjaro®, answered.

What is Mounjaro?

Mounjaro contains tirzepatide, a prescription medicine used for weight management alongside a reduced-calorie diet and increased physical activity, under the supervision of a registered doctor. It comes as a once-weekly injection in a pre-filled pen.

How does it work?

Tirzepatide acts on two appetite hormones, GIP and GLP-1. Together they signal fullness and slow digestion, so hunger and cravings ease and smaller portions feel like enough.

How is Mounjaro different from Wegovy or Ozempic?

Wegovy and Ozempic contain semaglutide, which acts on one hormone pathway, GLP-1. Mounjaro acts on two, GIP and GLP-1. Your doctor will tell you which suits your history.

Where can I find official information about Mounjaro?

The Mounjaro® Consumer Medicine Information and data sheet are published by Medsafe at medsafe.govt.nz. Your doctor can also talk you through anything in them.
